Star Wars & Beyond at Eisemann Center

Lone Star Wind Orchestra takes the stage in Richardson this Sunday afternoon at the Charles W. Eisemann Center. The performance will feature favorites from films scored by composer John Williams including notable pieces from the Star Wars Trilogy. Also on the program are other recognizable pieces by Williams including Superman March, Theme from Schindler’s List, Adventures on Earth from E.T., Flight to Neverland from Hook, Scherzo for Motorcycle from Indiana Jones, and Harry’s Wondrous World from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. To enhance this nostalgic experience, videos clips of the films will be projected above the orchestra.

World-renowned violinists Julia Bushkova performs the theme from Schindler’s List. As Professor of Violin at the University of North Texas with experience performing around the world, this exploit is sure to be moving.

Lone Star Wind Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation comprised of professional musicians from North Texas with a vision “to inspire people and impact lives through our music.” Through collaborations, mentorships, performances, and community engagement, their goal of is realized.
